IMPROVING LOCAL EVERYDAY
COMMUNITY LIFE.
SOME SAY, MAKE A BETTER WORLD FOR OUR CHILDREN.
WE SAY, MAKE BETTER CHILDREN FOR OUR WORLD.
Poverty affects one in four children in the UK today. It is an upsetting for any parent or family when basic bills such as food and shelter cannot be paid for. There were 3.9 million children living in poverty in the UK in 2014-15. That’s 28 per cent of children, or 9 in a classroom of 30. London is the area with the highest rates of child poverty in the country. You can see child poverty rates by local area by visiting End Child Poverty.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE WHERE IT MATTERS MOST
The Organicburgr project IS DESIGNED TO donate 20% of its profits to FAMILES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN.
To ensure that donations reach the FAMILIES, we have taken the conscious decision to avoid CASH donations.
Instead we have opted to make meaningful donations by regular food deliveries in partnership with our local farms. A selection of fresh and organic vegetable, fruit, meat and other food staples will be delivered to LONDON and ESSEX based FAMILIES on a weekly basis. As the Organicburgr project grows additional FAMILIES will benefit from OUR programme.
GOOD TO KNOW
The Organicburgr project exists to make meaningful charitable contributions to local poverty-stricken families and their young children. Ongoing donations are made by means of clothing, food, educational tools such as toys, a variety of courses and computer equipment.
The Organicburgr project also helps organise and cover the cost of adventure days out such as visits to the Zoo, short trips and various sports events.
