Casa Mercia is superbly equipped to make your stay as pleasant as possible. On the ground floor, with direct access to the garden, the three attractive bedrooms with two large bathrooms, one with a Hydromassagesystem, and a comfortable guest WC near the entrance. 
On the ground floor is the fully equipped kitchen with many appliances, the attractive dining area is just the way you want it to be so you can serve that magical meal. 

The cozy living room with its fireplace providing the colder months with warmth, and cable TV where you can relax.
A beautiful curved staircase leads to the upper area of the house with access to the roof terrace. Here you can relax with cable TV, music, and enjoy the tranquility. In this charming house you will feel welcome throughout the year. 
Enjoy just a short drive away, impressive beaches of Carvoeiro and Ferragudo.

 

Golf enthusiasts, can do so on the way to the two nearby courses Gramacho and Vale de Pinta. Improve your swing in the corresponding Golf Academy, David Leadbetter. Ideal for nature lovers and hikers.

 

Estômbar is one of the oldest Moorish settlements in the Algarve. Many famous personalities from the nobility and the church were here at home, but also people like the famous poet Ibn Ammar or the notorious bandit and hero Remexido. 
Due to its excellent location on the Arade River, the place was formerly very wealthy due to its agriculture, salt extraction, industry of fish and trade on the river. Today, the town lives mainly from tourism. 

Worth seeing is the Matriz Church in the heart of Estômbar, built at the beginning of the 16th Century in the Manueline style. 
To relax, picnic and swimming in the nearby park, Fontes de Estômbar were springs cordially invite you. On the 18ha of pure natural landscape there are picnic areas with BBQ, a restored water mill, a typical Algarve house, an open-air theatre and a fitness trail.

 

Nearby is Praia do Carvoeiro, the most famous of the former quiet fishing villages on the Algarve with many beaches protected by cliffs. 
The large and impressive beach, Praia Grande in Ferragudo is wonderfully suited for families with (young) children and is ideal for long walks. 
The water is almost always very calm due to its sheltered location. You can look at the many boats of the Marina of Portimão and the progression of Ferragudo, or enjoy a snack or drink at one of the bars on the beach during the day and the magnificent sunsets. 
Parking, a children's playground, sun loungers and sun umbrellas for rent and a volleyball court are available throughout the season.
